In recognition of their brilliant performance on the world stage, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has awarded full scholarships to three exceptional Nigerian teenagers through the Atiku Abubakar Foundation.
The beneficiaries; Nafisa Abdullahi, Rukaiya Fema, and Khadija Kalli, secured top honors at the prestigious TeenEagle Global Finals, an international academic competition that draws students from across the globe.
A letter signed by the Acting Secretary of the Foundation, Professor Ahmadu Shehu, and dated August 5, 2025, commended the students for showcasing academic excellence and representing Nigeria with distinction. The Foundation described their victory as a “remarkable success” and a proud moment for the country.
“The Atiku Abubakar Foundation is delighted to learn of your outstanding performance at the TeenEagle Global Finals, where you emerged as global winners in various categories of the competition,” the letter stated.
Among the awardees, 17-year-old Nafisa Abdullahi was specially highlighted for her mastery of the English language, sharp critical thinking, and eloquent delivery qualities that helped her outperform peers from 69 countries.
This move by Atiku Abubakar not only celebrates the achievements of young Nigerian minds on the global stage but also reinforces his long-standing commitment to education and youth empowerment.
