The opening day of the Edo Carnival 2025 Audition was a spectacular display of creativity, passion, and cultural pride as young talents from across the state gathered to showcase their skills.

Held at Viewpoint Hotels, Ikpokpwan Road, Benin City, the atmosphere was filled with energy and excitement as dancers, singers, poets, and performers took the stage each eager to earn a spot at the grand Edo Carnival celebration.
From electrifying dance moves to soulful songs and powerful spoken-word performances, the first day proved that Edo State is bursting with raw creative talent.
Organizers described the auditions as “a celebration of art, culture, and self-expression,” urging more participants to seize the opportunity to shine.
Auditions will continue until November 15th, giving aspiring talents a chance to join the vibrant lineup for the main carnival event.
“Edo is alive with creativity,” said one of the judges. “The energy and diversity we’ve seen so far show that the future of Edo’s creative industry is bright.”
Residents and participants are encouraged to attend and support local talent as the auditions continue.
