President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday officially swore in Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro and Mr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh as new members of the Federal Executive Council during a brief ceremony at the Council Chamber, State House, Abuja.
The swearing-in took place just before the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by the President.

Dr. Bernard Doro, a pharmacist and lawyer from Plateau State, has been appointed Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, succeeding Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, who recently assumed office as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). His nomination was confirmed by the Senate in late October.

Mr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) from Enugu State, takes over as Minister of Science, Innovation, and Technology. He replaces Uche Nnaji, who resigned following allegations of certificate forgery. Before his appointment, Udeh served as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Enugu State.
After the ceremony, President Tinubu immediately began the FEC session, which opened with a presentation on the state of the economy by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun.
Top government officials in attendance included Sen. George Akume (SGF), Mrs. Esther Didi Walson-Jack (Head of Civil Service), Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila (Chief of Staff), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu (NSA), alongside ministers and senior aides
