Veteran Nollywood actor Fabian Adibe has passed away at the age of 85.
Adibe, best known for his role in the classic film adaptation of “Things Fall Apart”, reportedly died in the early hours of Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at around 2:30 am.
The circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be confirmed. However, the sad news was announced by celebrity journalist Seun Oloketuyi, who wrote on Instagram: “Things Fall Apart actor, Fabian Adibe, is dead. Died 2 am this morning.”
Adibe was among Nollywood’s pioneering generation of actors, remembered for his depth, cultural pride, and significant contribution to the Nigerian film industry.
