The 74th Miss Universe title has been awarded to Fátima Bosch, representing Mexico, at the grand finale held on Thursday, November 20, at Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
This year’s pageant brought together competitors from over 130 countries and territories, showcasing global talent and poise under the theme, “The Power of Love.” Bosch emerged victorious after impressing judges with her charisma, intelligence, and stage presence.
The lead-up to the crowning was not without drama. On November 4, a viral livestream showed Miss Universe executive Nawat Itsaragrisil reportedly chastising Bosch for allegedly refusing to participate in a promotional photo shoot. While Bosch denied the claims, the incident led to other contestants leaving the room in solidarity.
Bosch succeeds Victoria Kjær Theilvig, last year’s winner and the first-ever Danish Miss Universe, who captured the crown at the 73rd edition of the pageant.
The event continues to highlight the global fascination with Miss Universe, blending glamour, competition, and occasional controversy on the international stage.
