As the investigation into the tragic death of singer Mohbad continues, controversial activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has made explosive claims accusing several celebrities of manipulating public perception surrounding the case.
In a video shared online, VDM alleged that 14 days after Mohbad’s death, a private WhatsApp group was formed with actress Iyabo Ojo as the admin. He claimed the group was organized to coordinate social media narratives, target dissenters, and orchestrate blackmail tactics.

“They sent my nude photos to Gistlover to blackmail me,” VDM alleged. “Two people in that group know exactly what killed Mohbad, while the rest were brainwashed.”
Celebrities Allegedly Named in the Group
VDM listed several alleged members, including:
- Iyabo Ojo
- Tonto Dikeh
- Dre (Davido’s PRO)
- K-Solo
- Samklef
- Aloma
- Barrister Olamide
- Pumping (Bella Shmurda’s rep)
- Iyabo Ojo’s lawyer
- Actor Jigan – whom he described as “very evil.”
VDM also said he initially believed Naira Marley was behind Mohbad’s death, based on posts from the singer’s wife, Wunmi. However, upon learning that Marley wasn’t in the country at the time, he began questioning the mainstream narrative.
He suggested that his public call for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of Wunmi’s child may have triggered the backlash against him, including his alleged arrest and leaked private photos.
No Official Response Yet
As of this writing, none of the individuals named have publicly responded to VDM’s allegations.
