NCAA Responds

Confirming the disciplinary action, Michael Achimugu, NCAA’s Director of Consumer Protection, stated:
“K1 De Ultimate has been blacklisted from flying any commercial airline in Nigeria for six months. This action is to reinforce our commitment to aviation safety and adherence to standard procedures.”
Achimugu also confirmed that the pilot licenses of the flight crew involved were temporarily suspended, pending the conclusion of a full investigation.
He added that the ban was in no way influenced by K1’s social or political connections, noting:
“No individual, no matter how highly placed, is above aviation law.”
