Controversial clergyman “Indaboski Bahose,” Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has launched a scathing attack on Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, accusing him of failing Nigerians despite the country’s heavy patronage of his businesses.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Odumeje alleged that Dangote has done little to improve the lives of ordinary citizens, particularly with his multi-billion-dollar refinery project.
According to the pastor, Nigerians are yet to feel any real benefit from the refinery, as fuel prices remain high despite expectations that the facility would bring relief.
“That’s why I tell Dangote, come and see me. If you do not come, your refinery will not solve anything. What has he done for Nigerians who consume all his products? For him to be called the richest man in Africa is a disappointment to Nigeria. Even with his refinery, fuel prices increased instead of coming down. That is the anger of God,” Odumeje declared.
He further claimed that God was displeased with the billionaire, insisting that unless Dangote made significant changes, divine judgment could be inevitable.
The sermon has sparked mixed reactions, with some Nigerians agreeing with Odumeje’s criticisms while others dismissed it as mere theatrics.
