Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has approved the nomination of four commissioner-designates and appointed two special advisers.

The announcement, made by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, stated that the list has been forwarded to the Edo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

The nominees include:

• Ohimai Ehijimetor – A civil engineering graduate with over 14 years of experience in project management and business development, currently serving as Managing Director of Jackhammar Services Limited.
• Eugenia Abdallah – A banking industry executive with over a decade of experience and qualifications in Humanities and Administration.
• Hon. Godwin Afekokhe Eshieshi – A seasoned politician and businessman, former Edo State House of Assembly member, and ex-chairman of Etsako East Local Government Council, with degrees in Government & Public Administration and International Relations.
• Prince Kassim Afegbua – A veteran journalist, public affairs analyst, and politician, who previously served as Edo Commissioner for Information and Orientation, and as Special Adviser on Media to a former governor.

Governor Okpebholo also appointed two special advisers, though their names were not disclosed in the statement.
