Renowned Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has sparked fresh reactions after claiming that former U.S. President Donald Trump is showing interest in Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election allegedly in support of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

According to Ayodele, Trump’s recent comments and moves are not coincidental but part of a broader political strategy aimed at influencing Nigeria’s future leadership.

“The reason Donald Trump is doing all of this is because he wants Goodluck Jonathan to become the next President of Nigeria,” Primate Ayodele reportedly stated during a prophetic session at his Lagos church.
