Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly refuted circulating allegations that he married actress Regina Daniels when she was just 17 years old.
In a detailed post shared via his official X (Twitter) account, the lawmaker described the claims as “entirely untrue and misleading.”
He clarified that during his first meeting with Regina, she stated she was 21 years old and presented her INEC voter’s card showing her date of birth as October 10, 1998.

“I informed her that I would keep this document in my possession, and I have done so since that day,” Nwoko wrote.
He further stated that according to verifiable records, their marriage took place six years ago, making Regina 27 years old today.
“Any suggestion that I married her at 17 is false and should not be accepted by the public,” he added.
Nwoko also urged Nigerians to approach all claims attributed to Regina with caution, referencing her alleged battle with drug addiction and an abandoned rehabilitation process.
“The facts are verifiable and indisputable,” he emphasized, calling for discernment from the public.
