Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has taken to social media in tears, alleging that her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, directed the arrest of her brother and sister as tensions in their marriage reached a breaking point.
In a series of emotional Instagram stories shared on Monday evening, the 24-year-old mother of two said she feels “on the verge of losing her mind,” claiming her husband is using her family to pressure her into returning to a rehabilitation centre.

“Someone please help me! My brother and sister have both been arrested, and he says they’ll stay there until I return to rehab,” she wrote, adding that her younger sister could be next.
Reacting to claims that she is struggling with drug addiction, Regina fired back in frustration:
“You said I’m a drug addict? Me, I use am rub body sir! What else do you want to call me a prostitute? One day I’ll tell the world everything you did!”
The actress pleaded with the senator to stop targeting her relatives, describing the situation as humiliating and heartbreaking.
“Leave my family alone, Ned! Leave me alone too! Why must things get this bad when love fades? The life and legacy we built together are now being mocked publicly,” she wrote.
Regina’s elder brother, Sammy West, appeared to confirm the incident via his Instagram story, stating:
“Dem say na Ned send dem. Currently at Ogombo station,” suggesting that they were detained at Ogombo Police Station in Lagos.
The controversy follows Senator Nwoko’s earlier public statement accusing Regina of “violent behavior and substance abuse,” where he claimed she needed to remain in rehabilitation for her own wellbeing. He proposed facilities in either Abuja or Jordan, insisting it was “a necessary step for her safety.”
Adding to the tension, a viral video circulated last week showing Regina crying and collapsing while surrounded by relatives and aides. In the footage, she said tearfully:
“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a queen. I can’t stand the violence anymore.”
As of this report, Senator Nwoko has not publicly responded to the latest allegations. Meanwhile, fans have flooded social media with messages urging the couple to settle their differences privately and prioritize peace for the sake of their children.
