Regina Daniel’s mum, Rita Daniels, and her husband have expressed heartfelt gratitude to Nigerians after reuniting with their son, Sammy West, arrested in on the orders of Senator Ned Nwoko.

In an emotional selfie video shared by actress Doris Ogala, Rita Daniels appeared beside her husband, repeatedly saying “Thank you” as she appreciated Nigerians for standing by their family during the tense ordeal.

“We are grateful to everyone who prayed for us, spoke out, and supported us,” Rita said tearfully, her husband nodding in agreement. “Your love and concern gave us strength through this period.”

The Daniels family had earlier raised alarm after Sammy West’s wife claimed he was lured by a man posing as a real estate agent before being arrested and transferred to Abuja.

Days before his reunion, Rita Daniels had publicly accused Senator Ned Nwoko of allegedly using his political influence against her family following Regina Daniels’ decision to distance herself from him.

Now that the family has confirmed Sammy’s safety, Rita and her husband say they are deeply touched by the “overwhelming and unforgettable support” from Nigerians across social media and beyond.
