Following the alleged arrest of two of her children amid his ongoing marital dispute with Regina, in a viral video circulating on social media, the veteran actress accused the Delta North lawmaker of ingratitude, claiming that she and her daughter contributed financially and logistically to his political campaign.
“You wanted someone with a high star to boost your fallen star. I kept quiet and was covering you. You will come down,” Rita Daniels said emotionally in the clip.
She further alleged that Regina donated $50,000 to support Nwoko’s election bid and continued to publicly praise him online to protect his image.
“Regina gave you $50,000 to support your election yet she will come on social media and call you Odogwu just to make you feel funky. I also supported you with money and resources. You are mad,” she added.
The video has since stirred widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing shock over the escalating family feud between the senator and his wife’s family.
