Igboho Warns Against Insider Support for Kidnapping Networks in Southwest

by Editor

Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Adeyemo (Sunday Igboho) has issued a strong warning over alleged collaboration between some residents and kidnapping groups operating in parts of the Southwest.

In a video statement, Igboho expressed concern that certain individuals within local communities may be working with suspected Fulani-linked kidnapping networks to abduct residents in Yoruba land.

He claimed that such internal collaboration is worsening insecurity in the region and vowed that anyone found aiding kidnappers would face serious consequences.

According to him, the fight against kidnapping requires unity and vigilance within communities to prevent further incidents.

Igboho urged residents to be more alert and report suspicious activities to security agencies, stressing that betrayal from within poses a major threat to regional safety.

His comments have generated mixed reactions online, with some users supporting his call for vigilance while others have raised concerns about the tone of his warning and its potential implications.

The issue of kidnapping remains a major security challenge across several parts of Nigeria, with authorities continuing efforts to curb criminal activities and improve public safety.
