Reactions have emerged online after a Nigerian lady shared a touching moment involving the wife of the late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo during his burial ceremony in Arochukwu, Abia State.
Alexx Ekubo, who reportedly died on May 11, 2026, after battling metastatic kidney cancer, was laid to rest in his hometown following a service of songs held in Lagos.
A video from the graveside has since gone viral, showing the actor’s wife, Anulika Amakom Ekubo, paying her last respects as family members and loved ones gathered to bid him farewell.
Reacting to the clip, an X user identified as @Iam_sistabibi claimed she noticed what appeared to be a baby bump and suggested that rumours about the late actor’s wife being pregnant could be true.
She wrote:
“The rumour of Late Alex Ekubo wife being pregnant is true. Look at the way she’s holding her tummy. This is so heartbreaking.”
She later added:
“Eze that announced the pregnancy ooooo. Leave me alone. I’m just a maiden.”
However, it is important to note that neither Alexx Ekubo’s family nor his wife has publicly confirmed any pregnancy. The speculation remains unverified.
