Actor Yul Edochie has reacted to allegations made by Emmanuel Obasi, the former husband of actress Judy Austin, over claims that he has been denied access to his children for years.

The controversy gained attention after Obasi publicly lamented that he had not been allowed to see his children, leading some social media users to suggest that Yul Edochie might be involved in the situation.

Responding to the claims, Yul firmly denied having anything to do with restricting anyone from seeing their children, insisting that he has never interfered in such family matters.

According to the actor, several fans had reached out to him believing he was responsible for preventing Obasi from having access to his children.

Yul, however, maintained that the issue is strictly between Emmanuel Obasi and his former wife, Judy Austin, stressing that he should not be dragged into their personal disagreement.

“I have never stopped anybody from seeing his children,” Yul said while addressing the allegation.

He also argued that discussions on social media often exaggerate private disputes and create narratives that do not accurately reflect the facts.

Yul advised Obasi to communicate directly with Judy Austin if he wishes to reunite with or take custody of his children.

According to him, both parties already have a means of contacting each other and should resolve the matter privately.

“Tell him to call his ex wife, if he wants to see or take his children, let them discuss it. He has her number. It has nothing to do with me,” he stated.

The latest development has sparked fresh conversations online, with some Nigerians supporting Yul’s position while others believe the matter should be addressed openly to clear lingering questions surrounding the children’s welfare.
