Women in Oredo Ward 6 of Oredo Local Government Area, Edo State, are set to benefit from a major empowerment programme spearheaded by the Special Adviser to the Edo State Governor on Women Mobilization, Hon. Lady Omorede Osifo.
The empowerment initiative, scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2026, is aimed at supporting hardworking women, petty traders, and artisans across the ward to strengthen their businesses and improve their daily economic activities.
The programme, themed “Empowering Women, Building Stronger Communities,” will bring together beneficiaries from different parts of Ward 6, including New Benin, Urubi, Mission Road and surrounding communities.
According to the organisers, the initiative reflects Hon. Lady Omorede Osifo’s commitment to promoting economic growth among women and ensuring families have better means of livelihood.
