VeryDarkMan has criticized Omoyele Sowore over his reported decision to present actress Doris Ogala as a potential governorship candidate for Abia State.
Reacting to the development, VeryDarkMan questioned Sowore’s political judgment, arguing that the move does not present a credible alternative to the current governor of the state, Alex Otti.
According to VDM, Sowore has repeatedly spoken about having a strong political structure and has also criticized Governor Otti’s performance. However, he expressed surprise that Doris Ogala was being considered to challenge the incumbent.
“Sowore said he has a structure yet he carried Doris Ogala to become the governor of Abia State. You challenged Alex Otti that he wasn’t working and all you can produce to pursue Alex is Doris Ogala,” he said.
The outspoken critic went further to question whether Ogala possesses the political experience needed for the office.
“You are a clown. How can Doris Ogala replace Alex Otti? You didn’t even say she should become a Local Government Chairman,” he added.
VDM also praised Governor Alex Otti, describing him as one of the country’s best-performing governors.
“As of today, Alex Otti is the number one among the governors in this country, yet you are telling me Sowore knows what he is doing and I should join him,” he stated.
The remarks have sparked fresh political debate online, with supporters and critics weighing in on the qualifications of celebrities seeking elective office and the future of opposition politics in Nigeria.
