Peller has responded to critics mocking his educational background by referencing recent comments made by Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu.
Peller’s reaction comes after he faced intense online criticism following rapper Ycee’s description of him as part of the “Olodo uprising,” a remark that sparked widespread debate on social media.
During a live session, Peller questioned why many of those who mocked his academic qualifications remained silent after the First Lady advised Nigerians to consider small businesses such as selling akara, roasted corn, and kuli-kuli.
“Certificate people they want to give you people kuli-kuli and agbado make una dey sell but una dey talk about Olodo uprising,” he said.
He also recalled the backlash he received after requesting academic certificates from applicants for a ₦1 million cameraman position, saying many people criticized him at the time.
“That other time wey I say make them bring certificate for cameraman job of ₦1 million, everybody start to dey drag me. See now na agbado and kuli-kuli una go use una certificate collect and una no talk. You people una wicked,” he added.
Peller further claimed that despite the criticism, he continues to support people financially through regular giveaways.
“Every month when I check how much I don do giveaway, I go dey see ₦10 to ₦15 million. E reach akara and kuli-kuli una no dey vex,” he said.
His latest comments have reignited conversations online about education, entrepreneurship, and the value of academic qualifications in today’s economy, with social media users expressing differing opinions on the controversy.
