Content creator Jarvis has responded strongly to critics who have questioned her decision to marry fellow social media star Peller, insisting that she is not concerned about predictions regarding her relationship.
The influencer addressed the criticism following her recent traditional marriage ceremony with Peller, which has sparked widespread reactions online.
Some social media users have argued that the couple are too young to be making such a significant commitment. However, Jarvis dismissed the concerns, suggesting that many of her critics should focus on improving their own lives rather than speculating about hers.
“You have not predicted your destiny, yet you are predicting my marriage. Have you predicted when you’ll be rich and buy a Benz? You’re predicting me, who is better than you,” she said.
She also responded to comments about their age, questioning whether being older automatically translates to wisdom or maturity.
“Some are saying our age is young. You that is 30-plus, has your brain not matured because you’re saying me and Peller’s brains have not matured? Leave me and advise your president,” she added.
Jarvis’ remarks come shortly after she and Peller celebrated their traditional wedding following a family introduction ceremony in Benin City, Edo State, where the bride price was reportedly paid.
Their relationship has attracted public attention for months, evolving from content creation collaborations into a romantic relationship that later led to an engagement and traditional marriage.
Despite the criticism, the couple have continued to publicly celebrate their love and appear determined to move forward without being influenced by negative opinions.
