Nollywood actress and media personality Nancy Isime has stirred conversations online after revealing that she does not believe couples should disclose their personal earnings to each other.
Speaking about finances in relationships, the actress stated that she would never tell a man how much she earns and sees no reason why such information should be shared in marriage.
According to Nancy, knowing a partner’s exact income is unnecessary, adding that she is equally uninterested in finding out how much a man earns.
“I will never discuss my money with a man. I can never tell a man how much I earn. Why should I? Marriage has got nothing to do with discussing how much I earn and I don’t want him discussing his with me either because I will never ask him,” she said.
She maintained that financial privacy works both ways, stressing that she would never question a man about his salary or income and expects the same level of discretion in return.
Nancy’s comments have sparked mixed reactions, with some agreeing that personal finances should remain private, while others argue that openness about money is important for trust and long-term planning in marriage.
