Social media commentator GehGeh has faulted Peller’s marriage to Jarvis, questioning whether the popular TikTok star is truly prepared for married life despite his financial success.
The criticism came shortly after Peller announced that he had completed traditional marriage rites by paying the bride price of his fiancée, Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, during a family introduction ceremony.
Reacting in a post shared on X, GehGeh argued that having money should not be the only factor considered before getting married. According to him, mental, emotional, physical and spiritual readiness are equally important.
“Y’all are justifying his act with ‘he has the money allow him.’ But y’all failed to ask yourself if he’s ready mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually,” he wrote.
He added, “Everything isn’t all about the money.”
GehGeh also expressed disappointment that Peller proceeded with the marriage plans despite advice he claimed to have given him in the past.
“You still growing as a child, why get married now? I tried my possible best to help you but you failed to listen to me. Peller don go marry Jarvis. Upon all my advice this boy still pour spit for my face,” he said.
The social media personality further urged supporters of the union to reflect on whether they would encourage a younger sibling or family member to get married at a similar age.
Peller and Jarvis recently attracted widespread attention after videos from their traditional bride price ceremony in Edo State surfaced online, sparking congratulatory messages from fans and followers.
